Domestic Violence
Leaving or surviving an abusive relationship can be one of the most difficult and overwhelming experiences a person will ever face. Domestic violence often affects far more than physical safety—it can impact self-esteem, trust, emotional well-being, relationships, and a person's sense of control over their own life.
Before becoming a counselor, I spent nearly 15 years working in criminal justice and victim advocacy, where I worked closely with survivors navigating the legal system after experiencing abuse and violence. Those experiences gave me a deep understanding of the unique challenges survivors face, both during and after an abusive relationship.
I provide a safe, supportive, and judgment-free space where survivors can process their experiences, rebuild confidence, strengthen coping skills, and begin healing from the effects of trauma. Whether you are currently in an abusive situation, planning your next steps, or working to recover from past abuse, you do not have to face it alone.
Healing is possible. Together, we can work toward safety, empowerment, resilience, and a future defined by your strength rather than your trauma.
