First Responders

Police officers, firefighters, EMS personnel, dispatchers, corrections professionals, and other first responders face challenges that most people never see. Day after day, they are exposed to trauma, crisis, loss, and high-stress situations while carrying the responsibility of helping others through their worst moments.

My background in criminal justice and victim advocacy has given me extensive experience working alongside law enforcement professionals and individuals impacted by trauma and violence. As a Certified Clinical Trauma Specialist (CCTS) and EMDR-trained therapist, I understand the unique emotional toll that repeated exposure to critical incidents, loss, and stress can have over time.

First responders spend their careers showing up for others, often at the expense of their own well-being. The cumulative impact of trauma, critical incidents, and chronic stress can lead to anxiety, hypervigilance, sleep difficulties, burnout, depression, grief, symptoms of PTSD, substance misuse, and challenges in relationships and family life.

Counseling provides a confidential, judgment-free space to process difficult experiences, strengthen coping strategies, and prioritize your own well-being.

You spend your career taking care of others. You deserve support, too.
